There will come a time when printable coupons and coupon inserts will simply disappear. Everybody will have their coupons on their mobile phone and anything but a mobile coupon will simply not be accepted anymore. But that’s a few years away, I would think.

In the meantime you can start to load the online coupons that are available as mobile coupons onto your phone and use them that way. Means you will have less paper to lug around when you go shopping, and classifying your coupons will be a lot easier electronically.

Where to Start with Mobile Couponing

There are a few companies that are offering this very convenient way of handling your coupons, one is JoAnn Fabrics coupons and the other one is Michaels coupons.  These companies make it easy for you to start mobile couponing.

Some grocery stores also offer mobile grocery coupons. Most supermarkets still use paper coupons that are best kept in a coupon organizer.

There are also coupon apps from different shops and manufacturers, but none is really ready for general use. Nowadays you need to load one app per shop or store or manufacturer, and there is not a single app that will bundle all your different coupon deals in one place and which is searchable by product type or product brand.
